This position requires someone who is resilient, adaptable, ambitious, and curious. The individual who fills this role will partner with solution architects and reporting analysts to build data mart solutions that ensure a sustainable and scalable data processing environment for our business-line dashboards and reports. This individual will be expected to design, develop, test, configure, maintain, and support the solutions that they build. They should embrace an agile development approach, which may sometimes require delivering imperfect solutions and refining them over time.Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience- At least 3 years experience working in an information technology (IT) environment.- At least 2 years experience with tools and techniques to build data models and data flows (ETL).- Understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g. land, stage, ETL, cubes)- Proficient in Microsoft Excel- General understanding of Microsoft Access and Visual Basic- Able to effectively manage multiple tasks with competing priorities- Collaborates well with others and works independently as neededPreferred Qualifications- Experience working in an Agile development framework- Experience working in a financial institutionWorking experience in:- Data mining- Data validation- Technical troubleshooting- Data warehousing- Logical & physical data modeling- Microsoft SQL Server- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)- Microsoft Visual Basic- Microsoft Visual Studio- ETL scheduling tools (ActiveBatch, Autosys)Benefits:Take care of yourself and your family with U.S. Bank employee benefits.
