Job Description:

This role has the option of being 100 remote if warranted. Summary As our Software Architect, you will be entrusted with the architecture, design, and development of web-based and Windows-based products and your responsibilities will include helping to define and implement architecture while working with developers, product managers, and other architects. Works closely with other architects to determine, develop, and maintain architecture guidelines and coding standards Collaborates with the development team in the development and initiation of new software designs and architectures ensuring new development is done according to the established architecture Reviews and is a key contributor for design and code inspections Develops architecture and design alternatives Does research on emerging software development products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts Cultivates and disseminates knowledge of development best practices Trains and provides guidance to software development staff Requirements 7+ yearsrsquo experience in Software Development (full lifecycle) with a minimum of 2 years in Software Architecture Previous experience implementing high traffic, enterprise-level, web applications with a focus on scalability, security, and consumer acceptance. You must have experience with developing web services Excellent large-scale design and implementation skills with broad and deep experience in algorithms Ability to translate business requirements into technological and architectural requirements Technical strengths involving AngularJS, Angular (ideally 8), bootstrap, C, Dapper, and SQL Detailed knowledge of Agile methodologies experience creating design documentation, roadmaps, and coding standards Experience with building an event-driven service-oriented architecture Ability to communicate business and technical information clearly Experience with Domain Driven Design or other modeling approaches Ability to establishreviseexecute process change to gain engineering efficiency as well as identify opportunities for improvement Ability to analyze complex business and departmental problems and collaborate with peers to provide solutions Self-motivated, assertive, and demonstrates a ldquocan dordquo attitude, quickly acquiring and applying skills and knowledge in a timely manner Leadership, conflict resolution, and consensus-building skills Ability to foster self-governing, self-organizing, and adaptive teams Be able to adapt to rapid changes within the organization and evangelize change within the department Ability to foster communication, provide clear and concise documentation and accurate reporting Ability to drive innovation both in-process and in products Strong quantitative skills and software capability In-depth experience in the architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of product development
