about their employeesUnder the direct supervision of the IT
Manager, the Clinical Technology Analyst participates in the
implementation, configuration, support and training of the clinical
technology applications, devices and workflows. Configures,
maintains, assists with upgrades, and provides end user support for
the technical application systems.This is for a full time
opportunity based at our Corporate office in Woodbury. Scheduled
hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (some flexibility
allowed). Participation in on-call rotation may be
required.Qualifications:Outstanding written and oral communication
skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse
group of employees with different skill levels and technical
knowledge.Minimum of three years of experience working as a systems
or applications analyst/specialist. Previous clinical and/or
healthcare application and technology experience
desired.Understanding of computer technology and clinical
applications such as PACS, EMR/HER, Dragon, and Practice
Management.Experience implementing and configuring medical software
(EHR or EMR, Practice Management, PACS) in a clinical setting
preferred.Problem Solving skills and ability to think
analytically.Ability to run small to medium projects
independently.Develop and maintain a mastery of assigned software
and hardware in order to help create high quality workflows and/or
configurations that promote optimal product efficiencies for end
users.Participate in the exploration, analysis and selection of
clinical computing systems in assigned areas.Manage small to medium
projects by developing project plans and monitoring performance.
Assist Senior Analysts with project management for larger
implementations and upgrades.Understand the applicable operations
work environments, processes and related needs in order to
successfully integrate solutions into user workflows.Participate in
successful implementations and upgrades of the applications by
conducting system configuration, acceptance testing, and follow-up
support and training, as needed.Implement, configure, test and
administer system applications under minimal supervision.Provide
continuous system consulting, and end user support as it relates to
assigned clinical technology applications and devices.Observe,
learn, and understand user workflows, processes and any applicable
inefficiencies. Identify and recommend business process
improvements to make end users more efficient.Make recommendations
regarding the improvement of overall department efficiency through
training and education and facilitate training to key users for
assigned applications.Participate in implementations of application
systems by conducting system configuration, acceptance testing,
validation and follow-up support and training, as
needed.Collaborate on the development of documentation and training
materials required for implementation as well as end-user support
and training.Assist the department leadership in building support
for new applications and technical capabilities that address gaps
in business processes.Provide ongoing support for end
users.Continuous skill development in applicable clinical
technology and applications.Perform other related duties, as
