    Job Summary

    *This position may have an option hybrid telework after a satisfactory completion of training and probationary period.

    This position exists to support the Business Manager in personnel work, managing files, and new employee orientation, as well as serve as a support and backup for the Data Practices Compliance Officer.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
    • One (1) year of experience performing human resource or administrative support duties, such as processing employment transactions, managing personnel records, inputting and accessing data into accounting or human resource or accounting systems, and preparing invoices.
    • Knowledge of modern office procedures, practices, and equipment sufficient to develop and improve work procedures and forms.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills sufficient to present ideas, explain complex and technical information in a manner which can be easily understood by the public and to communicate effectively with professionals.
    • Strong human relations skills to work constructively with other employees, customers, and government agencies to build effective relationships
    • Organizational skills sufficient to prepare and maintain files in a logical fashion and appropriately prioritize work assignments.
    • Computer and database management skills sufficient to query, analyze, and prepare reports from stored data.
    • Ability to perform duties and make decisions independently. Preferred Qualifications
      • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Data Management
      • More than one (1) year of experience providing administrative support duties such as inputting and accessing data into accounting or human resources systems, managing personnel records, and preparing invoices
      • Experience with State of MN human resources policies, systems, laws, and procedures.
      • Knowledge of data practices and data privacy policies and laws.
      • Experience implementing new processes.
      • Experience providing executive-level support. Additional Requirements
