Responsibilities
The Director, Human Resources is responsible for overseeing Human
Resources management and departmental operations of the Innovative
Blood Resources, a division of New York Blood Center Enterprises.
This role develops and implements innovative HR strategies in
support of divisional and regional business goals, enterprise HR
initiatives, and ensures a top workplace culture and positive
employee engagement. Under the direct leadership of the Executive
Director, Human Resources, NYBCe, this position will provide
strategic HR guidance to the development and implementation of the
Midwest organizational structure.
Responsibilities include:
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or
related field required. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred. A minimum of
8 years of experience required with at least 5 years in a human
resource management role and 3 years as an HR Generalist.Excellent
verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal,
negotiation, conflict resolution, and collaboration skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong change management
skills. Ability to partner, consult, and coach managers as a
trusted and valued HR partner. Ability to prioritize tasks and to
delegate them when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity,
professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of
employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft
Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with or the ability
to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management
systems. Workday knowledge a plus.
