grows and prospers. The Specialty Mfg. Co. is looking for a Human
Resource Coordinator to join our team in our White Bear Lake
office. The Human Resource Coordinator / Payroll is responsible for
various functions of the Human Resource department, including
payroll, talent, compensation, benefits, and administration of
company policies. We are a small department and wear many hats. The
ideal person for this position has proven experience in Human
Resources. This includes payroll, benefits administration, talent
acquisition, and compensation, . To be a competent HR Coordinator /
Payroll , you should be patient and compassionate, have excellent
listening skills, and be able to multitask effectively and wear
multi hats within a small Human Resources Department. This role is
ideal for someone who works well independently and is a self -

Payroll -Collect and verify employee time keeping data and process
payroll. Compute wages and deductions, etc. Update payroll
information for promotions, transfers, terminations, and new hires.
Answer questions and resolve issues regarding payroll. Recruitment
/ Onboarding --- Recruit, interview, and assist with the hiring of
qualified job applicants for all open positions. Work closely with
hiring managers to understand the needs of their department and any
required job openings. Create new-hire onboarding programs and
deliver compelling new-hire orientations. Benefits / Compliance ---
Assist employees with benefit programs and all leave requests. Work
closely with the Human Resource team on the annual Open Enrollment
period. Comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws
and regulations. Employee Relations / Culture --- Assist as needed
with all details and coordination of disciplinary discussions,
terminations, and investigations. Ensure professionalism and
confidentiality in all aspects of the role. Responsible for Company
newsletter. Here's what we're looking for: A minimum of High School
Diploma or GED- preferred HR Degree or certification A minimum of
three years of experience in Human Resources and working in payroll
Proficient with Microsoft Excel or related software Proficient in
ADP Workforce Now and talent management systems Strong ability to
multitask and remain calm in emergencies with attention to detail
Superb conflict resolution skills Ability to display integrity,
professionalism, and confidentiality at all times Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and
