Job Description:
ContainerPort Group, Inc., a leading provider in logistics and
transportation solutions, is looking for motivated and dependable
CDL-A Owner Operators to join our dedicated team. This role
involves driving routes mainly Monday through Friday, hauling
no-touch freight, allowing you properly balanced work-weeks. Ideal
for individuals looking to minimize physical cargo handling and
maximize efficient routes across our comprehensive US network.
Benefit from our established infrastructure, including advanced
container trucking systems, centralized warehousing, and accessible
rail services. Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck both
on and off highways. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and
safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and
meet delivery schedules. Document and log work/rest periods and
miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with
truck driving rules and regulations, as well as with company
policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading
positions. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Proven work
experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record. Hands-on
experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units,
CB, etc.). Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and
regulations. Adaption to hauling procedures and timely delivery
protocols. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with A
endorsement. Must own a 2000 or newer tractor trailer in compliance
with DOT standards.
