Job Description:

part-time Cook (prep cook) to serve seniors with compassionate,
supportive care at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior
housing and service providers._ Positions available include working
every other weekend and every other holiday _ _ 6:00 a.m. - 2:30
p.m. (Part-time - 48 hours per pay period) _ _ 11:00 a.m. - 7:30

Location Information Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and
services available in a person's own home or in one of our five
Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview,
Robbinsdale and Woodbury.Since 2016, Saint Therese of Woodbury is
our youngest community. Social vibrancy, distinctive living spaces
and a continuum of care blend to create a unique senior living
experience. We offer 216 independent, assisted living and memory
care apartments; 56 skilled and transitional care suites. The
Redwoods Senior Apartments, joined the campus in late 2017.
Responsibilities The Cooks at Saint Therese of Woodbury are
responsible for preparation of hot and cold meals for residents,
bistro and special functions. The Cook also performs general
cleaning duties. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or
GED. Vocational training in quantity food preparation preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year cooking experience. Minimum of one
year of quantity food production preferred. Special knowledge,
skills and abilities: Able to communicate effectively through oral
and written skills. Able to work cooperatively with others. Able to
lead and delegate. Able to calmly and effectively handle
challenging situations.Saint Therese complies with the CMS mandate
