OPERATIONS - Catering Operations Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Green Mill Catering, Sterling Catering, Deco Catering, Kafe 421 Catering-- Pre-Event Planningo Assists in wedding tasting process.o Be the next point of contact for the client. o Finalizes all event details for stores as needed.-- Date, time, number in attendance, inventory needs, tables, linens, checklists.-- Confirm pricing with Sales Managero Performs final walk-through with client and banquet lead at off-site functions.o Data entry of events in Tripleseat Software. -- Lead event planning meetings with stores and staff involved.-- Distribute information and Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) o Facilitates and manage banquet staffing needs.
Operationso Coordinate and Manage offsite events -- Coordinate timeline with Kitchen Lead and Event Manager.-- Finalize menu and timing with Kitchen Lead two days prior.-- Effectively delegate duties to catering lead prior to and on the day of the event. -- Be at events day-of to ensure they are setup and executed properly.-- Distribute and order uniforms for staff, record, and ensure return at completion of event.-- Follow up with Venue Manager post event to make sure billing and staff is entered correctly.
Post-Evento Send Surveys and thank you letters to client.o Follow up with venue coordinator and banquet lead after event.o Provide results of event and feedback in written form to the VP of Operations.-- Administrative/Sales - Assist the Sales Managers where needed.o Detail proposals as assigned. o Organize leads and place follow-up calls from events - Wedding Fairs and Expos.-- Catering Vano Check van in & out for store use with proper paperwork. o Monitor wear and tear, update GMR on maintenance needed.
Catering Inventoryo Check inventory in & out for store use with proper forms and process. o Count inventory the beginning of every month. o Log broken equipment and report it after each event. o Invoice store at the end of each month.
