Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Saint Paul, MN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,323 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac/Telemetry Intermediate Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Candidates should be comfortable and competent with vasoactive IV drips. Familiarity with BiPAP, post-operative CABG/valve replacements/thoracotomy is required. Experience with endotool/insulin drips is necessary. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac/Telemetry Intermediate Care Unit. Candidates will provide care for post-cardiovascular procedure patients. This includes post CABG, valve replacement, watchman procedures, and TAVR. The role requires managing cardio-renal syndrome and respiratory failure cases. Candidates should be able to interpret arrhythmias and provide appropriate interventions. Nurses will administer and manage chest tubes, BiPAP, CPAP, and heated high flow therapy. Temporary pacing management will also be a part of this position. Nurses will float within the facility as needed to meet patient care requirements. Weekend coverage will be required, with a frequency of every other weekend. A patient ratio of 1:3 and occasionally 1:2 for CV surgical ICU patients is expected. The daily census will average around 32 patients. Interdisciplinary support services will include respiratory services, pharmacy, and physical therapy. Candidates will utilize Epic for charting and documentation. This position is suitable for those who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
