Opportunity – Inpatient Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist
– Remote (U.S.) Start Date: March 2, 2026 Location: Remote
(anywhere within the U.S.) Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: Friday through Tuesday, 8:00am –
5:00pm CT (includes weekend coverage and applicable holidays).
Potential overtime based on operational needs. Highlights: - 100%
remote position with flexibility to work from anywhere in the
United States - Concurrent and retrospective review of inpatient
medical records to support accurate clinical documentation -
Collaborate directly with physicians, coding teams, case
management, and nursing staff to enhance documentation quality -
Apply advanced knowledge of disease pathophysiology, medications,
and critical thinking to identify documentation gaps - Serve as an
educator and resource to improve documentation completeness and
compliance - Opportunity for overtime and engagement with
high-acuity patient populations Requirements: - High School diploma
or GED required - One of the following credentials: RHIT, RHIA, RN,
RRT, CCS, CCS-P, or International/Domestic Medical Degree - CDIP or
CCDS certification required - Minimum of 2 years of experience as
an Inpatient Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist - At least
12 months of recent production-level CDI experience required -
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication
skills - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and
collaboratively in a remote environment - Flexibility to work
