Job Description:

care, is looking for an experienced Phlebotomist to join our
dedicated healthcare team. This position requires proficiency in
blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, patient
preparation, and specimen processing. Our Phlebotomists are crucial
in providing high-quality care and detailed attention to our
patients. With a commitment to healing the whole person, this role
plays a vital part in our mission to treat patients with expert,
compassionate care. Perform blood collection using venipuncture and
capillary techniques from patients of various age groups. Confirm
patient records and verify identities to ensure proper labeling of
blood samples. Maintain and organize blood drawing equipment, order
and stock supplies, and adhere to health and safety protocols.
Prepare and process blood samples for laboratory testing. Explain
testing procedures to patients, providing a comforting and
reassuring experience. Uphold patient confidentiality in accordance
with HIPAA regulations. Expertise in venipuncture and capillary
blood collection Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to provide supportive patient care Proficient in laboratory
information systems Capable of working independently and as part of
a team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification preferred
