Medical Assistant Location: Albert Lea, MN 56007 Duration: 8 Weeks
(Possibility of Extension) Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday:
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Pay Rate:
$23/hour (W2) Required Certifications: CMA (Certified Medical
Assistant) BLS or CPR Certification Position Overview: We are
seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support both front and
back-office clinical operations in an occupational health setting.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily
operations while delivering high-quality patient care. Success in
this role requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and
excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: Greet and room
patients Schedule appointments and answer phones Take and document
vital signs Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture Administer vaccines
Perform EKGs and POC testing Provide front and back-office clinical
support Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems Collaborate
effectively with healthcare team members Qualifications: Minimum 1
year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship) Medical
Assistant Certification strongly preferred Occupational Health
experience strongly preferred Experience with phlebotomy and EMR
required Strong attention to detail and computer proficiency
