Job Description:
Walmart Inc., a leader in global retail with a commitment to
healthcare, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager
to oversee the daily operations of our in-store pharmacy
department. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of
efficient, safe, and compassionate pharmacy services to our
customers. As a Pharmacy Manager at one of the largest retailers in
the world, you will play a key role in maintaining our standards of
excellence and driving innovations in patient care within our
community. Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy,
including budgeting and forecasting, inventory management, and
regulatory compliance. Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff,
including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, to ensure best
practices in patient care and service. Develop and implement health
and wellness programs to increase community engagement and promote
preventive healthcare measures. Maintain a safe and secure
environment for customers and staff by adhering to company policies
and industry standards. Provide exceptional customer service and
patient counseling in addition to resolving any issues related to
prescription services. Work collaboratively with other department
managers to integrate pharmacy services with broader store
operations. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local
regulatory bodies as well as company policies regarding pharmacy
operations. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in managing
pharmacy information systems Capability to work efficiently under
pressure Knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical terminology
Expertise in drug administration and health regulations Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Valid state pharmacist license required. Board certification in
Pharmacy Practice or a related field preferred.
