Walmart Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our thriving team within one of the nations largest retail chains, emphasizing a commitment to community health and customer service excellence. This role offers the unique opportunity to engage directly with customers and provide personalized care in a dynamic retail environment. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the safe and effective dispensation of medications and health consultations. Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently. Provide pharmacological information to a multidisciplinary health care team and counsel patients on drug therapies. Develop and manage protocols for the administration of medications, and monitor patients for efficacy and safety of drug therapies. Conduct health and wellness screenings and provide immunizations. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals to optimize care plans and improve patient outcomes. Manage pharmacy inventory and perform administrative tasks as needed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations, and ensure compliance within the pharmacy. Strong knowledge of pharmacology and pharmaceutical brands and generics. Proficient in pharmacy information systems and technology used for processing prescriptions. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
