Walmart Inc., a leading global retail giant, is seeking a highly skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our dedicated pharmacy team within our comprehensive healthcare division. This role involves providing exceptional patient care and pharmacy services in a dynamic retail environment. As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in pharmacy to help improve patient health outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and efficiency. Dispense prescriptions accurately while adhering to professional standards and legal requirements Conduct patient medication reviews and health consultations to ensure optimal therapy strategies Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with all health and safety protocols Provide immunizations and other health screening services Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy files in accordance with HIPAA regulations Educate patients on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication storage and usage Participate in community health initiatives and wellness programs Strong knowledge of pharmacology and pharmaceutical drugs Excellent patient counseling and communication skills Ability to manage and lead a team Proficient in the use of pharmacy information systems Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid and active State Pharmacy License Certification in Immunization Delivery preferred Experience with pharmacy software and electronic health record (EHR) systems Continuing Education credits maintained as per state and federal regulations
