Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Rice Lake, Wisconsin,

per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must have communication
skills. Must be a team player. Must put patients first. Experience
in BSSR and hourly rounding. Skills in phlebotomy, IV starts, EKG,
and telemetry monitoring. Ability to perform cardioversions. Strong
critical thinking skills and time management. Required to titrate
drips. Description: The unit features 32 beds with a daily census
of 17.5 patients. Nurse to patient ratios include 5:1 in Med Surg,
1:1 to 1:3 in ICU, and 1:2 to 1:4 in IMC. Common diagnoses include
COPD, pneumonia, AFib RVR, DKA, and CIWA. Nurses are required to
read their own telemetry strips. Charge nurses take an assignment
along with their duties. Two scheduled aides are present on each
shift. Respiratory therapy equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and
high flow is available, and respiratory coverage is provided 22
hours a day. Shifts run from 1700 to 0530 or 0500 to 1730,
including a 30-minute meal break. There is flexibility required for
weekend and holiday schedules. In low census situations, staff may
be placed on low needs. Floating to assist in the emergency
department during codes or trauma situations may occur. Navy blue
scrubs are required, and no hoodies are allowed. The orientation
for registered nurses consists of one day. Cancellation policy
allows for client cancellations up to 12 hours every 13 weeks. The
charting system used is Cerner. A BSN is not required for this
