Fairview Health Services is seeking a Physician – Adult Psychiatry Inpatient to join the Fairview medical team at the brand-new, state-of-the-art 144-bed behavioral health hospital. Capitol Park Mental Health Hospital located in St. Paul, Minnesota has an exciting opportunity to work with a growing team and help shape the delivery of compassionate, high-quality inpatient psychiatric care from the ground up. Practice Details: - - This position is a full-time (1.0 FTE) role that includes coverage during weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays, as well as participation in the call rotation to ensure 24/7 continuity of care. - Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and manage treatment plans for adolescent/adult and/or geriatric inpatients. - Lead multidisciplinary Capitol Park treatment teams, including therapists, nurses, and social workers. - Participate in daily clinical rounds and team meetings. - Provide clinical leadership and oversight for Capitol Park behavioral health staff. - Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and hospital program development. Qualifications: - - MD or DO from an accredited medical school (Fellowship training in Addiction Psychiatry, Pain Medicine, Geriatric Psychiatry or Hospice and Palliative Medicine preferred.) - Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry - Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice medicine in Minnesota - Previous experience in acute care, adolescent care and/or geriatric care preferred - Experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting is preferred About the Facility: Capitol Park Hospital is purpose-built to support patients with acute mental health needs in a safe, calming, and therapeutic environment.
