*Job Title: *Occupational Therapist 13 Week Contract*Location:* St. Cloud*Company:* Big Stone StaffingBig Stone Staffing travelers have the opportunity to work in multiple settings including long term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, inpatient, outpatient, and home health. We offer 13-week travel contracts and provide assistance to find housing, navigating licensure for each state, and being the liaison between you and the facility. We look forward to finding the right opportunity for you in your life.*Overview: ** Setting: HH only* Pay Package: Starting at $1800 per week* Guarantee: 40-hour weekly guarantee* Schedule:Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm No weekends, holidays or call* Start Date:ASAP* Length: 13 weeks*Responsibilities: ** Providing supervision for Occupational Therapy Assistants and/or Therapy Aides as per state and federal laws and/or regulations* Evaluating patients starting occupational therapy* Facilitating rehabilitation of patients by providing treatment and plans* Helping patients develop or regain physical or mental abilities allowing them to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances* Reviewing the patients progress and adapting the treatment accordingly* Assuring continuation of therapeutic plan by providing home exercise programs, along with recommending and/or providing assistive equipment* Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls* Authenticating, preparing, and submitting of documentation, ensuring confidentiality of all records, per HIPAA guidelines*Qualifications: ** Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree* Valid state Occupational Therapist License or eligibility for licensure* CPR Certification* Valid drivers license* Must be able to pass a background check* Strong interpersonal and communication skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Experience in skilled nursing and/or outpatient settings preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply*Benefits: ** Health, Dental, Life, Short-Term Disability, and Vision insurance options* 401k with employer contribution* 7 paid holidaysExtensive Professional Development program including:* Unlimited CE courses through MedBridge* Residency programs through Evidence in Motion with employer contribution* Financial assistance for specialty certifications* Mentorship program to support you no matter where you are*Why Work with Us?* Big Stone Staffing is a division of Big Stone Therapies, Inc. together we can bring top notch therapy services to rural communities.
