Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Tech 1 with a well-known industry leader in Maplewood, MN.

This is a support role for new dental solutions and materials testing in which you will be thoroughly trained.

This is a first shift position.

As a Lab Tech 1 you will:
Perform chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
Assist with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results
Ability to follow procedures and methods and to work well on a self-directed team is required.
Good mechanical aptitude and skills as well as experience and specific training for the product line will be provided.
Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred.
Must be computer literate with good communication and time management skills.

Estimated Duration up to 24 months.

The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree preferred or HS with 2-4 years Lab Experience
Time Management skills
Lab Technician skills-schooling does count
Mechanical Aptitude

Pay Rate: $21.98 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
