Department Overview
Comprehensive interdisciplinary initial evaluation, follow-up and
management of congenital and acquired endocrine disorders,
including: diabetes, growth problems, thyroid disorders, etc. This
department also provide an education program for children and their
families that includes diabetes management and nutrition counseling
as well as resources, support groups, for children and their
families.
Position Summary
Operational leader who is accountable for day to day management of
ambulatory clinic operations. Works in a paired leadership role
with a Medical Director dyad to execute on key strategies to
improve clinical quality, experience and financial performance.
Supports 2 or more clinic locations and/or specialty programs.
Required Education:
* BA/BS Degree in healthcare, business, or related field
Preferred Education:
* MHA, MBA, MS
Required Experience:
* 3+ years of management or leadership experience in the healthcare
industry
Preferred Experience:
* Previous experience in managing a minimum of 10 staff people
* Experience working in ambulatory clinics
* Experience in pediatrics and designated specialty (if
applicable)
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Driving the execution of strategic priorities
* Inspiring & empowering others
* Fostering open dialogue & teamwork, building relationships
* Strong organizational, analytical, communication & interpersonal
skills
* Proven critical thinking and problem solving abilities, including
resolving complex problems requiring innovative solutions
* Experience managing a P&L and budgeting
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Experience designing and implementing care delivery and service
excellence strategies, using Lean management theory preferred
* A passion for learning
* Ability to present oneself and one's ideas with clarity,
confidence and poise
* Strong computer skills

The posted pay range represents rates for a grouping of multiple
jobs within a salary grade. We carefully consider a wide range of
factors including but not limited to market indicators for the
specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and
experience of the candidate, and organizational needs. Base pay is
just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Children's
Minnesota.
