Our nurses at SLS are responsible for oversight of client care, training our Advocates on administering medications, conducting client assessments, and licensure compliance. MORE ON THE ROLE: You'll be on a team of RNs and an LPN---based out of our headquarters in Saint Paul. You will work together to oversee the mental and physical health of clients throughout the organization residing in our Customized Living and Recovery programs. Most of the health care provided, such as medication administration and personal cares, is delegated to unlicensed team members. The main role of the Nursing Team is to train team members on providing cares based on a client's care plan, answers questions and providing instruction to address health concerns. Our RN team also perform intake and health assessments for new and existing clients on an ongoing basis. Other duties of the role are: Auditing MARS Manning the 24-Hour Nursing On-Call Line Injections Approval of new scripts/medication changes Our Nursing Team travels to our various residential locations as well as works remotely from home. The schedule is developed to maintain a high level of support to clients and unlicensed team members at all locations. An example of a part-time schedule is: Flexible Schedule: Between 20-32 hours a week Sunday (work remotely - available to answer on-call line) Monday & Tuesday, 8 hours each day preferred but flexible Additional availability preferred (including some weekends) Compensation: $30+ per hour, plus mileage reimbursement when traveling (based on experience) Stipend for on-call shifts SOME IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS: Current RN License Experience with mental illness and/or chemical dependent adults, preferred Strength/Weight guidelines lift/pull 20 lbs Motion Parameters ability to stand and sit for extended periods, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, pulling WHY SLS?
