The Clinical Assistant helps with the successful running of day-to-day operations in the clinic by taking on all tasks that are assigned to the Clinical Assistant, including?assisting dentists; scheduling patient appointments; cleaning rooms; and sterilizing instruments. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sterilizing dental equipment
  • Charting for the Hygiene Department
  • Assisting dentists
  • Scheduling appointments for patients
  • Cleaning rooms
  • Other office/administrative tasks Additional or different duties may be assigned from time to time ? MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
    • Experience in a dental clinic preferred
    • Proficiency in a second language preferred
    • Experience in working with culturally diverse, limited-English or non-English speaking patients preferred
    • Knowledge of updated OSHA regulations
    • Demonstrated expertise in using computers
    • Understand and perform each essential duty satisfactorily
    • Ability to quickly adapt within a constantly changing work environment ? CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:
      • Required current licenses/certifications: CPR/AED Certificate
