The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Dental Officer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: * Supporting new product development by: * providing clinical expertise for the development of dental products * identification of new trends in dentistry * support for identifying of new product ideas * Contributing to regulatory documents: * Creation of post-market clinical follow-up plans and reports * Creation of the clinical section of post-market surveillance plans and reports * Creation of product lifetime statements * Review and approval of clinical evaluation reports, clinical evaluation plans and "summary of safety and clinical performance" * Supporting risk management of dental products: * Clinical input to special cause risk assessment, to risk management and to periodic safety update reports * Identification and definition of residual risks * Medical assessment of adverse events / adverse device effects * Cooperation with Clinical research * Clinical input to study protocols * Review and approval of study reports * Identification of study centers and principal investigators Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: * Doctoral Degree in Dentistry (DDS or DMD) (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution * Three (3) years of experience as a practicing or researching Dentist in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: * Experience in writing systematic literature reviews * Knowledge in EU MDR * Knowledge in ISO14155 and Good Clinical Practice * Experience in presenting scientific data, e.g. on congresses, as well as in writing scientific papers Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international Relocation Assistance: May be authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
