us!Job Description:Job Summary:The Procedural Training Manager will
develop, plan and conduct training on the clinical application and
procedural of CSI's product portfolio and/or services for sales
representatives and reseller partners. In this role, you will
design procedural training classes and procedural training
materials (in collaboration with MA Content and Curriculum Manager
and team). Additionally, you will conduct sales training needs
assessments and analyze employee training needs to determine
requirements for new program development. This role can support
either the Peripheral or Coronary franchise.The Procedural Training
Manager will work closely with physician faculty and advisors to
ensure appropriate content is created and applied to physician and
internal training programs. In this role, there is an expectation
to prep key physicians/faculty on new products, new techniques and
content prior to peer-to-peer training and podium presentations (in
collaboration with Marketing and Professional Education).Essential
Duties and Responsibilities:Education Strategy and Execution:
- Works to maintain a strong knowledge of Peripheral portfolio,
services, customers, and competition to remain relevant and
effective. This person is an advanced clinical subject matter
expert who leads the development and application of effective
advanced procedural training materials.
- Identifies clinical training and developmental needs and
curates training initiatives and curriculum that can be tracked and
reported in collaboration with Sales Training Directors
- Manage all activities related to developing and delivering new
and existing procedural training programs globally
- Facilitates and trains global sales training department on
procedural classroom training content
- Create engaging learning experiences and compelling course
content that enhances retention and effectively translates into
positive performance results
- Continuously educates self and develops others on appropriate
methods for conducting legally compliant scientific interactions
and enhancing patient safety
- Evaluate training program effectiveness and adjust when needed
to ensure ongoing positive impact on performance results
- Drive brand values and philosophy through all training and
development activities
- Collaborate closely with complication committee and implement
findings into procedural training updates
- Utilizes Key Metrics to assess and improve performance in the
global procedural expert role
- Create content to facilitate strategic training, based on
meeting the Franchise and MA goals with a keen eye towards meeting
patient safety goals
- Use digital training technology to develop, deploy, administer,
and track training, including learning management systems,
eLearning design software, polling software, and web conferencing
tools
- Establish and support operating norms and metrics that inform
the Executive team on the health of the clinical acumen of the
global field organization (Strat Plan, AOP, QBR, monthly Franchise
meetings, etc.)
- Work closely with your team and leadership (in partnership with
Sales Training) to establish global continuing education standards
to ensure an acceptable level of clinical acumen within the field
organization and distributor teams
- Establish a level of expertise in leveraging innovative
technologies to reinforce skills training (Simulation, Advanced
Wet-lab, remote case access technologies, etc.
- Upon request, participate in New Product launch core teams and
serve as the Procedural ExpertKOL Engagement:
- Identify and work with physician advisors/KOL's to develop
content and build lasting partnerships
- Works with Medical Advisory Board to develop procedural
guidance for new product launches and clinical trials
- Work closely with your team and leadership (in partnership with
Sales Training) to establish global continuing education standards
to ensure an acceptable level of clinical acumen within the field
organization and distributor teams
- Establish a level of expertise in leveraging innovative
technologies to reinforce skills training (i.e.,Simulation,
Advanced Wet-lab, remote case access technologies)
- Upon request, participate in New Product launch core teams and
serve as the Procedural ExpertCompliance:
- Ensure all stakeholders maintain adherence to compliance
policies and protocols established
- Champions measures that reinforce the value of medical and
scientific principles such as accuracy, fairness, balance, and
transparency to maintain compliance and optimize patient
safety
- Possess an understanding of the MC approval process for
internal and external content
- Upon request, work in partnership with MA curriculum team to
resolve any compliance or IFU issuesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required for Successful Job Performance:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferable in healthcare, biology,
or related scientific discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical education/sales
training experience in medical device; 5 years of experience in
Cardiovascular Medical Device industry preferred
- Advanced clinical experience with complex peripheral therapies
preferred
- Instructional Design expertise with clinical curriculum is
preferred
- Proven ability to learn complex technology/clinical
applications required
- Familiarity with the medical device industry, laws and
regulations governing medical device manufacturers, and
compliance
- Excellent negotiation and collaboration skills required
- Demonstrate confidence in leading advanced clinical discussions
with internal and external customers
- Must demonstrate strong commercial and business acumen
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and
prioritize multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to use a PC and mastery of Internet, Intranet and
Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,
Project and Photo Editor) as well as CSI specific systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Mental abilities: stare at computer screen 8 hours per day
- Travel 20-25%, including overnight travel for CSI procedures,
symposia, speaking events, and other business and industry related
