clients.ResponsibilitiesVP Business Development State and Local
Critical Incident ManagementSUMMARY: This is a new role in PCG to
take lead of a new market area pursuit by the firm. It offers an
opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a potential new
business unit of a $500M+ public sector organization. It offers the
opportunity to help local and state governments by providing
solutions that matter in the lives of citizens and address a
growing. systemic societal problem.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
- Serve as the sales lead in identifying and closing contract
opportunities providing consulting and operations services to
address critical incident management to State and local
governments.
- Develop and execute business capture plans in support of new
business opportunities.
- Proactively premarket clients in support of business
capture.
- Lead and participate in writing proposals for new
opportunities.
- Maintain and report out prospects in the sales pipeline.
- Provide weekly status updates on progress associated with
business development activities.
- Execute other duties as assigned by the COOMINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience with sales and operations of 311, 911,
and critical incident management services
- 10+ years of business capture experience
- 10+ years of experience working with critical incident
management technology solutions
- Understanding of local, state, and Federal funding for 311,
911, and critical incident management services
- 5+ years capturing and closing $50M+ contracts
- 5+ years selling into the State and Local government
markets
- Solid understanding of industry standard business development
lifecycle and sales processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation production and presentation skills
- Excellent collaborative skills and ability to work with
delivery team members
- Bachelors Degree in business administration or concentration in
businessPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- MBA
- Shipley business capture and proposal writing
certification
- Experience in business requirements definitionWORKING
CONDITIONS:
- Periodic travel is necessary to meet with potential client and
execute business capture
- Remote work except for necessary client travel and quarterly
travel for COO face to face meetings.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors
including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role,
skill set, and level of experience.As required by applicable law,
PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for
this role: $110,000 - $270,000 . In addition, PCG provides a range
