role:**You will lead important strategic responsibilities for
market access insights & decision making to support market access
strategies for the GI department and will report to the Director of
Market Access Analytics. We are looking for understanding of the
government and commercial insurance environment and process for
covering specialty and rare disease products; understand the
effects of contract and market access strategies, the ability to
collaborate, listen, and of supported franchise; expertise with
variety of databases and software used to create analytics;
building, and coaching a team; the ability to challenge leadership
with data and analytics; lead by example on enterprise thinking by
providing meaningful contributions to meetings;. We are looking for
management of multiple complex projects simultaneously and ability
to provide summarized recommendations and guidance to leadership.
You are fueled by a curiosity to understand the business, market
access environment, and how data patterns can create insights that
affect the business. You provide, well-thought out presentations
using analytics and supporting data to establish clear story and
recommendations.**How you will contribute:**+ Strategic
recommendations leads the development of important analyses
providing strategic insight to senior leadership for decision
making. Examples would include assessment of likely coverage for
pipeline products, business development, analysis of impact of
payer coverage policies, and provider/channel economics. The
ability to convert analyses to applicable insights, explain their
meaning and effects and support decision making is important to
this position.+ Model best practices, looks for opportunities to
provide feedback and share valuable experiences to assist with
group development.+ Lead project teams through collaboration at
multiple levels of organization to improve products access and
profitability. Viewed as a subject matter expert.+ Work with
partners across market access, franchise insights teams, patient
services, Finance, and commercial operations.+ Use experience to
model and teach skills needed to identify and mobilize resources.+
Establish and maintain important relationships with a broad range
of internal partners. Talk with executives, managers, and team in
identifying and assessing and recommending endorsement for
potential new business opportunities.**Minimum
Requirements/Qualifications:**Required:+ Undergraduate degree
required+ 8 years of a business analytics experience preferably in
life sciences+ Ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex
analytical projects verbal and+ PowerPoint presentations+
Experience with MMIT, DRG, Symphony Health, specialty pharmacy,
patient services, MarketScan, and other healthcare claims
databases+ Experience supporting launch Brand analytics+ Experience
mentoring less experienced team members+ Internally, you will
interact with Market Access & Channel Strategy leads, the
Brand/Franchises, Commercial Operations, and patient services.+
Externally, you will interact with data suppliers (IMS, Symphony,
Fingertip Formulary, Policy Reporter) and other data/analytics
vendors.Preferred:+ Prior Managed Care / Market Access or
consulting experience preferred+ Experience of Excel (can maintain
complex spreadsheets) is required. Experience with tools such as R,
SAS, Microsoft Access, Qlik/Tableau software preferred**What Takeda
