Job Description:

Position Summary:

Project manager for workstream across all phases of a merger & acquisition project, including prep, planning, analysis, development, migration and post-migration. Scope of the role includes non-technical items including migration, operations, account administration, etc. This PM role will be focused on client-relationship conversion.
Develops scope of work, expected outcomes, deliverables and approach, risk management plans, and roles and responsibilities. Secures resources accordingly.
Plans and leads workstreams and/or deliverables throughout the life cycle to achieve business outcomes.
Builds strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to help navigate through problems, decisions, and related implications.
Identifies and manages communications (including change management efforts), governance and stakeholder engagement.
Evaluates and reports forecasted and actual costs and benefits compared to expected outcomes.
Drives the project/program to completion, ensuring results and outcomes meet the needs and steps are in place for benefits to be realized.
Qualifications:
Strong internal and external communication skills to partner with relationship managers and clients
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Effectively work through ambiguity by providing structure and finding solutions
Translate high-level strategies or needs, key business goals, current state processes, stakeholder perspectives, and market research into viable solutions (e.g., project structure and approach, deliverable management including future state processes, etc.)
Adapt to shifting priorities, resource demands, timeline pressures, deliverable changes
Strong management, organizational, planning and prioritization skills to organize and manage projects with outcome driven deliverables
Strong attention to detail
Effective finesse, diplomacy, leadership, communication, and facilitation skills
Ability to lead, encourage, motivate, and persuade project and program teams and internal and external stakeholders of all levels
Ability to drive change and influence others
Ability to build relationships, solve conflicts and gain the support of key stakeholders
Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills, with experience working independently and in team-oriented, collaborative environments
Working knowledge of project/program management best practices, and awareness of software development practices (e.g., agile, waterfall, etc.).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in sensitive situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project/program management experience within financial services and/or a highly matrixed organizational structure
Project/program management experience with client-facing transitions for M&A.
PMP certification

Role will be hybrid, candidates must be willing to commute to Saint Paul, MN.
