Together, we're redefining an industry in desperate need of a shakeup.Overview:The Director of Business Development - EMS Ambulance role will build relationships and provide strategic direction to help MacQueen grow revenue and profit with emphasis on increasing market share penetration. This position will focus on building and guiding relationships both internally and externally with sales and marketing teams, vendors and customers for the Demers Ambulance product line. Will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to define high impact growth initiatives. This position will report to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the leadership team to design, develop and execute the growth strategy including the elements of 3- Year forward looking strategic Blueprints (e.g go-to-market plans, planning process, customer analysis, sales coverage required, etc---)
  • Recruit, hire and onboard sales resources in line with the strategic Blueprint
  • Own and drive the regional competitive positioning, including insights about customer priorities and future ambitions; evaluate implications and make recommendations on how to best navigate
  • Coordinates sales efforts with the various sales leaders, marketing, service and parts operations
  • Be a champion of the 5-4-3-2-1 Sales Methodology, CRM 365 system, Fleet management program and the Demers CPQ configuration system
  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership and vendor's leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate sales and marketing ideas
  • Drive increased unit, revenue and profit to achieve MacQueen's ambitious growth
  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with key customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the MacQueen's products and services
  • Proactive participation in industry associations and tradeshows
  • Consult and train sales team based on industry trends to help influence customer decisions.

    Requirements:
    Requirements / Qualifications:
    • B.S. or B.A. required in business or a related field, advanced degree a plus
    • 3+ years proven success in business development, preferably with sales/marketing or related experience
    • Proven sales track record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships
    • Proficient in Office Suite products
    • Experience building senior level relationships internal and external to the organization
    • Demonstrated ability to negotiate, make difficult decisions, influence others and manage change.
    • Provide strategic direction and leadership; identify and qualify new business opportunities.
    • Responsibility for developing and maintaining a pipeline of strategically relevant business opportunities
    • Strong collaboration skill set
    • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
