A Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.The CRM Sr. Program Manager is responsible for cross-functional project team coordination and leadership for various projects and programs related to business unit programs and product development initiatives. The Sr. Program Manager serves as the core domain expert within the product line with responsibility for managing all phases of design and development of new products or solutions to our patients and customers from product definition through production and release. - The Sr. Program Manager is accountable for overall program planning, finances, and execution while driving this large, complex enterprise-level program across a global team.Responsible to a program level core team concurrent to responsibilities driving one or more project level leadership assignmentsInteracts with internal partners and external vendors to deliver a productMonitor progress toward pre-established objectives, assesses risk, and implements strategies to ensure successful delivery of the product(s) that align with organizational goals.Maintain effective communication with the business sector leadership team, team members and functional leadership in all activities required to design, develop, and deliver the product successfully.Ensure effective transition to relevant manufacturing, distribution, and commercial entities.Ensure the quality policy/system is planned, understood, implemented and maintained by ensuring compliance within the department.Ensure departmental compliance as well as appropriate departmental resources are available to effectively maintain the quality system (people, facilities, tools, and training).Manage daily execution of project/programs including critical path tasks, budgets, resources, and risk.Work with functional core team members to ensure clear communication of project/program objectives, deliverables, and timing of key milestones.Effective use project schedules and work breakdown to manage project critical path activitiesManage execution of all design history and phase gate deliverablesTen years of technical work experience; over five years of project and/or people management experienceMust Have: Minimum RequirementsBachelors degree requiredMinimum of 7 years of -experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experienceNice to HaveSolid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment. PMP certification preferred.Demonstrated strong business acumen and strategic planning. Ability to think and act from an overall "best for the business" perspective. Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening) with all levels of the organization. - This includes the ability to communicate difficult and sensitive information tactfully, and to present information to cross functional audiences and management confidently.Strong interpersonal, quantitative analysis, and problem solving skills.Experience in leading within matrix organizations requiring strong influence management skills, with the desire to develop collaborative relationships within program level core team model and multiple functional organizations - Ability to facilitate team meetings, creates and delivers presentations, and drive meetings to action-oriented decisions.Experience leading and supporting cross-functional teams remotely.Experience leading global, cross-functional teams.Strong initiative; results oriented; strong sense of urgency. Ability to drive to completion in adherence to aggressive project schedules.
