Job Description Job Description CNC Machinist – 1st, 2nd, & Weekend Day Shift Opportunities Pay: $28–$40/hr (Based on experience and interview) About the Role We are growing and looking to add skilled CNC Machinists to our team on 1st , 2nd , and Weekend Day shifts. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment, including multi?axis lathes and Haas mills . Candidates do not need experience on both to start—just the willingness to learn. This is an excellent opportunity for machinists who enjoy clean, organized workspaces and take pride in high?quality production. Key Responsibilities Set up CNC machines with proper tooling; perform tool changes Perform part inspections using dial micrometers, digital calipers, and height gages Complete minor program edits as needed Run repeat jobs with varying run lengths (short runs of 8–10 parts to long runs spanning 3–4 days) Complete 2–3 setups per week Use iPads for documentation, part checks, and process tracking Required Skills & Experience 3 years of recent CNC machining experience (mills or lathes) Proficient with machine setups and tooling changes Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Preferred Qualifications Experience with multi?axis lathes (major plus) Experience with Haas mills (major plus) Any setup experience beyond basic operation is highly beneficial Why You’ll Love Working Here Clean, climate?controlled, well?lit shop A friendly, supportive team with a strong culture Organized workflow and modern equipment Stable company with nearly 100 employees (10–12 in the shop) Work that supports electronic and mechanical drive technology and control systems Work Environment You’ll join a high?performing machine shop known for its cleanliness, organization, and collaborative atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savage, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
