Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring an Entry Level Lab Research Chemist with a well-known industry leader in Maplewood, MN.

In this role you will prepare and test samples for adhesive, tape/film and raw materials products.

This is a first shift position.
As a Lab Research Chemist you will:
Document test results, perform basic statistical analysis, and provide observations and conclusions.
Effective communication and prioritization are essential, including working with a multifunctional team of engineers, scientists, marketing, and application specialists.

Position Duties:
Prepare Test Samples for testing processes of Tape, Film, Adhesives, and Other Materials
Record Results and Assist with Data Analysis
Data Management
Work with "live copies" of shared files located in network locations or Microsoft Teams
General Laboratory Upkeep and Supplies Maintenance

Estimated Duration up to 24 months.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree (preferred) Chemistry, Engineering, Physics
Knowledge and experience with general lab practices
Ability to understand and follow complex procedures
Competent with Microsoft Office tools
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to create/modify formulas and graphs

Pay Rate: $27.02 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
