Job Description
About the team:
Operations Enablement and Automation team members work with OS
business lines, offering strategic guidance, consulting and
discovery for transformation of end-to-end processing. Developers
will analyze existing processes and execute enablement and
automation opportunities through technology platforms, coding
languages and technical expertise. We are an end-to-end solution
team, meaning we guide and lead all aspects from requirements
through development and testing, as well as providing ongoing
maintenance for all solutions we deliver. In addition to OS
automation, we provide support for larger technology initiatives,
maintenance, and support, as well as dashboard and reporting
needs.
What you will do:
The Automation Engineer performs design, scripting, testing,
implementing, maintaining and modifying automations of moderate
complexity, significance, and risk. Creates comprehensive test
plans and test cases; defines automation data needs across systems
and creates a plan to coordinate this test data. Creates and
executes performance tests to ensure the expected automation
performance levels are achieved. Performs, and at times, leads
clients and technical staff to investigate, analyze, and resolve
technical problems. Writes documentation that describes automation
capabilities and operating procedures. Estimates and defines time
tables and project tasks. Conducts analysis of organizational needs
for the creation and implementation of automation solutions;
participates in feasibility assessments of new automation
opportunities and helps determine best approach for automation.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Seven to nine years of relevant work experience with programming
concepts, development logic or automating complex processes
Preferred Skills/Experience
Thorough knowledge of data and process modeling, system and
application testing, software development life cycle, application
design and architecture, programming, implementation, change
controls, and robotics suites
Strong experience with MS Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate,
PowerBI, AI Builder, SharePoint) is required
Strong coding skills in .net, C#, Java or WorkFusion would be
helpful.
Thorough understanding of information and release management, and
product and vendor evaluation
Thorough knowledge of Java VBA languages, or other
configuration/scripting type technology is a plus.
Demonstrated problem-solving, project management,
andteamwork/collaborationskills
Comprehensive analytical, technical and
applicationdevelopment/programmingskills
Adept at forging relationships, influencing others, overcoming
resistance, and producing results
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication
skills
