Job Description
Principal Engineers at Intel are active technical leaders inside
and outside the company. Activities include participation in major
industry and academic conferences, voting membership in
international standards committees, generation of patents and
technical papers.
Our graphics validation and verification experts are responsible
for analyzing graphics hardware architectural specifications and
defining feature requirements. We ensure that design
implementations meet functional and performance requirements-such
as physical and structural design constraints-as well as
proprietary design rules and other quality criteria. In order to
reach power, performance and other targets, we validate graphics
hardware and implement design modifications and optimizations.
As part of our team, you will help:
Execute and debug hardware simulations.
Identify and close design and environment defects including bug
fixes requiring manual ECOs (gate-level netlist edits).
Characterize and analyze performance and power results.
Execute ASIC logic synthesis flows to assess progress towards
timing and area objectives.
Debug graphics hardware in emulation and silicon hardware
environments.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge of Graphics pipeline.
Knowledge of modern validation techniques including UVM including
constraint random capabilities, coverage driven validation
methodology.
Experience with EDA vendors.
Leadership capabilities.
Industry experience of 20+ years.
Mentoring and recruiting new talent.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado, New York, Washington, California:
$180,270.00-$288,770.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location
and experience
Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would
require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on
business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work
model which allows employees to split their time between working
on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain
circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business
needs.
Position of Trust
