professional growth. WAGE RANGE: $22.00 - 24.50 Hourly JOB SUMMARY:
Catholic Charities is seeking a self-motivated individual who is
fun, child-centered, compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally
aware to serve as a Toddler Teacher at its Northside Child
Development Center. They will contribute to the daily interaction
and supervision of children and are responsible for supervision of
classroom including the planning and implementation of a
developmentally appropriate program for assigned groups. In the
absence of the Supervisory Teacher, they may be responsible for
supervision and coordination of classroom staff in assigned groups.
They will maintain positive relationships with staff, children,
parents, volunteers, and community. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Adhere to
all licensing and accreditation standards. Supervision of children
at all times Provide daily programming while ensuring all areas of
development. Assist with the coordination of lesson plans,
assessments and program documentation. Work with children’s
individual needs; meeting children where they are. Ensure
communication with parents daily. Provide supervision of room and
direct other staff and volunteers in the absence of supervisory
teacher. Responsible to work where staffing is needed including
working with the other age groups or classrooms. Responsible for
promptly and accurately collecting, entering, managing and
reporting of client data into systems of record. Other duties as
assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERTISE: Bachelor’s Degree in
Early Childhood Development, Education or related field preferred.
Must meet Minnesota Department of Human Services licensing
qualifications as stated in Rule 3 for a Teacher. One (1) year of
experience working in center-based child-care. Valid driver’s
license and proof of insurance. Ability to work with diverse and/or
low income populations, including those who may be experiencing
homelessness, unstable housing, and/or mental illness required. JOB
