As an integral part of the University of Minnesota, our school provides a rich and stimulating research environment. Current research efforts encompass an array of topics, including health promotion, symptom and self-management of chronic and acute health conditions, interventions for individuals and families across the life span and vulnerable populations, health/nursing informatics and data science. The University's culture strongly supports collaboration with renowned scholars in departments and disciplines across the campus and with industry partners. The school's mission is to generate and disseminate to students, colleagues, the wider community, and the world, knowledge necessary for improving the health of individuals, families, and populations. The school supports several nationally prominent centers, including the Center for Child and Family Health Promotion, Center for Aging Science and Innovation, and the Katharine J. Densford International Center for Nursing Leadership.
