The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension wishes to hire a new
Transplant faculty, consistent with its plans to grow its Kidney
Transplant program.
The ideal candidate would have prior or current funding to conduct
research or outcomes of kidney transplant recipients as well as 3-5
years minimum clinical experience in Transplant Nephrology.
Other responsibilities include quality assurance and improvement,
medical administration, professional recruitment, utilization
review, participation in Transplant, Division, Department and
hospital medical staff meetings. This faculty position is expected
to contribute to the academic mission of the Department of Medicine
and the Division of Renal Diseases and Hypertension and will
participate in the teaching of medical students, residents and
fellows, and meet the academic expectations as set for by the
Department Chair and Division Director.
Qualifications
Requirements include an M.D. or international equivalent, board
certification in Nephrology,
Applicants must have the ability to receive work authorization in
the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration
Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of
VISA category while in the United States.
