The Department of Medicine is seeking an infectious disease
specialist(s) in the Academic Clinical emphasis track to serve as
clinician/educator in the Division of Infectious Diseases and
International Medicine at the University of Minnesota. The position
will have both inpatient and outpatient duties at the University of
Minnesota Medical Center-Fairview, including attending on the
inpatient general infectious disease, transplant, and antibiotic
management team services, and providing outpatient infectious
disease clinic services in the Clinics and Surgery Center.
Educational responsibility includes teaching students and residents
who rotate on the infectious diseases consult service and staffing
the infectious diseases fellows' clinic. There is also the
opportunity to establish and/or collaborate on clinical research

Qualifications
Requirements include an MD degree, board eligibility or board
certification in Internal Medicine, and completed fellowship
training in Infectious Diseases. Applicants for this position will
demonstrate excellence in patient care, enthusiasm for medical
education, and strong teaching skills.Applicants must have the
ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status
according to the requirements of VISA category while in the United
States.
