Job Duties/Responsibilities:
100%
* Outpatient Sports Medicine clinical practice, a blended care
model of walk-in and continuity clinic
* Work collaboratively within a large network of both primary care
and specialty physicians throughout M Health Fairview, which
includes many subspecialists through an extensive outreach
program
* Participation in call coverage for Primary Care Sports Medicine
patients
* Participation in occasional event coverage for sports activities
aligned with M Health Fairview strategic priorities
* Work with Allied Health Professionals, APP's, and trainees
(medical students, residents, fellows, visiting students, and other
allied health professionals)
* Close all patient encounters before eight (8) calendar days
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Physiatrists must be a graduate of an accredited PM&R residency
training program, graduate of an accredited sports medicine
fellowship program, be board-certified or board-eligible with the
American Board of PM&R (ABPM&R) in physiatry and sports
medicine, be eligible to obtain a Minnesota Board of Medical
Practice license, and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for
credentialing and privileges. Applicants must possess the skills to
manage change and communicate effectively in a rapidly expanding
department. Enthusiasm, a collaborative nature, and an interest in
expanding a nonoperative sports medicine practice are essential to
the success of the department and the M Health Fairview Sports
Medicine Program.

departments, practices, and health systems
