The Division of Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplantation & Cellular Therapy (BMT & CT), University of Minnesota, is seeking a bench scientist with training and experience in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy. The Division invites applications for a Tenure track position, with a focus in cell-based tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, at the rank of Assistant Professor.About the Appointment:* The ideal candidate will have basic and translational research experience in the treatment and research related to blood and marrow transplantation & cellular therapy.
* The Division is seeking an individual with a strong interest in muscle degeneration/regeneration, pediatric sarcoma and tissue regeneration with stem cells, who can thrive the team-based environment of the University of Minnesota Medical School.
* This individual is expected to have postdoctoral training, first-author publications, and a proven track record of scholarship and federal grant funding.
* The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and collaborate with research team members involved in support of critical research goals.
* This individual will also participate in teaching of medical students and post-graduate trainees.


* Extensive training and experience in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy
* PhD degree and experience in a related field and completion of a post-doctoral training

The Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (BMT/CT) Program at the University of Minnesota has been at the forefront of advances since performing the world's first successful BMT in 1968.
