The Marketing Color Library Associate supports the Marketing team by ensuring accurate, timely processing of coil and extrusion sample requests, maintaining organized and reliable sample inventory systems, and enabling strong communication between Marketing, Color, and Lab teams. Ensure all tests are completed and results meet all specifications before going to the next production process for samples Enter all batch data into the electronic batch records system Generate appropriate paperwork as needed per customer specifications Gather and send customer samples as required Utilize appropriate computer systems to ensure effective testing of products Determine disposition of non-compliant finished goods Place non-conforming samples on hold as needed Maintain sample inventory levels Identify and communicate sample issues/delays to other departments as needed Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures for Quality Department to meet ISO requirements Process sample transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures Maintain precise work order files and formulas Assist in training of other library associates as needed Experience supporting customer-facing teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service) Strong attention to detail with ability to manage many small tasks accurately Comfortable working in fast paced, deadline-driven environments Must be able to communicate professionally with customer and internal partners regarding sample requests, timelines, and issue resolution, both verbally and in writing Must demonstrate strong customer-service skills, including responsiveness, clarity and attention to detail when providing updates or coordinating sample needs Perform other duties as assigned Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: HS Diploma or equivilant Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business , Library Science, Operations, or a related field. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: At least 1 year of customer service or inside/outside sales experience Preferred: Experience in color science, coatings, or manufacturing industries
