Wunderlich-Malec has a Project Manager and Proposal Writer
position available in St. Paul, MN. Wunderlich-Malec Engineering is
a 100% employee-owned company and one of the largest and most
well-established (35+ years) architecture and engineering firms in
the United States. This position is responsible for the preparation
of architectural conceptual, schematic, design development and
construction documents.DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated
project manager to collaborate with our growing architecture team
and on projects in the pharmaceutical/life science, industrial
manufacturing, food/beverage, chemical, and agribusiness markets.
This position will lead the day-to-day efforts within the
architectural business unit, providing general oversite and project
management for project budgets, schedule and client coordination.
This position is also responsible for the preparation of
architectural project proposals, coordinating with internal
turn-key disciplines including building and automation
engineers.QualificationsA minimum of 15 years' experience related
to architectural construction documentation.Experience in A/E
services is required, architectural services is not required but
preferred.Accredited degree in Project Management required.Must
have capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Microsoft
Project. Navisworks and Bluebeam experience preferred.Experience
with current version of AutoCAD and Revit architectural drafting
software is desired, but not required.Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Staff mentoring
and leadership experience preferred.Major
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for project budget, scheduling, and
deliverable deadlines though positive motivation of team, adjusting
procedures as necessary to obtain targets.Responsible for external
communications such as making telephone calls and preparing
correspondence to clients, officials, and contractors as required
by various projects.Must exhibit a high level of skills as required
to balance numerous and simultaneous projects with the ability to
meet deadlines.Act as primary contact for client services performed
within architecture business unit.Experience working with a
multi-discipline team that is performing a sequence of
tasks.Documents project progression of correspondence,
calculations, additional services, etc. in an organized
manner.Follows projects from proposal stage through
construction.Knowledge of estimating project needs and capable of
translating them into budget hours and costs.Experience in Life
Science, Food/Beverage, and Industrial Manufacturing markets is
desired, but not required.Contributes to business development
including attending conferences, creating presentations and
presenting services to current and potential customers.Leads
project proposal initiatives for new and existing customers.Other
responsibilities, as assigned.Primary Location: St Paul, MN: 3 days
remote/2 days in office. We will be moving offices in the Fall to a
co-working office style downtown Minneapolis, maintaining the
