Ecolab Life Sciences is a relatively new division formed to develop and commercialize solutions for Global manufacturers of Pharmaceutical and Personal Care, Health and Beauty products. Ecolab Life Sciences provides differentiated cleaning, sanitizing and disinfection solutions along with a wide variety of technical and validation services for this $3B market. The Life Sciences division is already established and continuing to expand with major global companies in this space. One of the major milestones for launching Life Sciences Division is the expansion of our global offerings to pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in North America. Life Sciences Team is actively working on getting ready to launch the complete product offerings for pharmaceutical market in 2019. Current Opportunity We are seeking an extraordinary Marketing Manager to join this start-up team in a big organization. The North American Marketing Manager for the Pharmaceutical and Cleanroom markets will be responsible for commanding a deep understanding of market dynamics, the competitive landscape, and the necessary tactics to grow our Global share with industry leading Pharmaceutical Manufactures. As a Marketing Manager on this team, you will work closely with cross functional teams including Consumer Insights, Marketing Communications, Globalization, Innovation, RD&E, Regulatory, Training and Field/Corporate Sales team to lead launch activities. Responsibilities Strategy and Planning * Create strategies to maintain and grow share with Corporate and Regional Accounts in North American Pharmaceutical Cleanroom Market * Partner with Global Segment Marketers to adapt global strategy for North American Market * Develop and track success metrics for measuring success of Ecolab Life Sciences in North America Market * Coordinate with regions and functions to implement strategic marketing driven initiatives (branding, market sizing, regulatory, etc.) * Partner closely with the regions to collect and synthesize competitive intelligence and develop strategies to operationalize competitive responses globally * Work with regional leadership teams to identify strategic business opportunities that help drive GAIN and GROW into new spaces * Build and leverage capabilities and best practices for both internal and external strategy communications and execution * Collaborate with Sales and Supply Chain Organization to build forecast for recent and upcoming product launches in North America * Partner with broader Marketing Teams including Customer Marketing, Marketing Communications and Sales teams to develop branding activities across Global regions * Lead activities and workstream with Consumer Insights team to stay on the cutting edge of market dynamics and trends impacting segment(s) * Develop segment centric sales tools to help capture and communicate Ecolab Life Sciences Value Proposition * Lead innovation throughout product life cycle management from ideation to post launch * Maintain understanding of global price architecture and impacts across regions * Work with R&D, Sales and global marketing team to identify portfolio gaps and lead innovation opportunities including owning Phase Gate development activities Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional experience or MBA in Marketing with 3+ years of experience * Sales and/or Marketing and/or Operations experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry * Experience in developing and launching new products/services/programs * Experience in developing marketing strategy * Expertise and vast experience in project management * Experience lading marketing communication strategies and programs * Strong & proven sales activation skills * Strong collaboration and cross-functional management skills * Experience influencing without direct ownership * Self-starter requiring minimal supervision to execute tasks * Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Digital Tools. * Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills * Fluent in English Preferred Qualifications: * Global marketing experience * Ability to relate to influential people and complex organization structures * Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills: setting vision and strategy, planning, critical thinking, orchestrating cross-functionally, overseeing multiple project elements and proven track record of results * Proven ability to work independently while handling multiple tasks * Ability to work with minimal supervision and navigate matrix organizations to achieve business results * Experience creating customer-facing presentations, with visibility to top executives * Strong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, good attention to detail and use of sound judgment in a fast-paced environment #li-uscf Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion At Ecolab, we believe the best teams are diverse and inclusive, and we are on a journey to create a workplace where every associate can grow and achieve their best.
