About the Job


Summary of Position:Directly support the College of Pharmacy in the Dean's office in an administrative role for the fall of 2024 into the spring of 2025. Hours are flexible.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Perform daily office tasks and clerical functions (e.g. scheduling, electronic filing, data entry, summarizing information in MS Word or PowerPoint slides, sending emails on behalf of the dean's office, etc.) Serve as a receptionist in the dean's office- greets, provides directions or information to visitors as needed.Assist and support with virtual event planning and scheduling. Assist with project managementWorking Conditions:The majority of the work in this position is performed in a general office setting.Pay/Hour: $16.50
Qualifications


Required Qualifications:

Currently enrolled as a University of Minnesota undergraduate studentWork study funding required in fall/spring semestersExperience with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Google AppsAbility to maintain confidentialityExceptional attention to detailDemonstrated ability to take initiative and work independentlyStrong written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to manage several projects at onceTimeliness and dependabilityStrong communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a professional office settingProject management skillsPrevious customer service experience
