Job Description:
The American Arbitration Association (AAA), the leading provider
of alternative dispute resolution services, seeks a Case
Administrator (Legal Service Administrative Support) to join its
Consumer Operations team in Roseville, MN. The Case Administrator
will be responsible for providing advanced case management of
alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services in accordance with
the rules and procedures of the AAA and applicable laws; serves as
an impartial liaison to the parties and their representatives;
possesses an in-depth understanding of ADR processes and their
application to different cases.This is an exciting opportunity for

Enters and maintains electronic case records, data, documents,
correspondence, schedules, and other information on arbitration and
mediation cases using a proprietary software system (PRISM).
Prepares communications for parties, party attorneys, arbitrators
and mediators.
Assists in the management of cases; takes the lead on completing
tasks and monitoring emails for assigned cases in the absence of
Manager of ADR Services.
Assists in the coordination, initiation, and facilitation of
conference calls.
Applies in-depth knowledge of AAA rules and procedures and
evaluates their application to different cases.
Initiates billing, disbursement, and collection; communicates to
parties, party attorneys, arbitrators and mediators.
Proactively identifies case management issues and works with
Manager of ADR Services to find solutions.
Understands the responsibilities of arbitrators and mediators, and
provides feedback to management on the Roster.
Attends on-site meetings and in-person training sessions.
Education & Experience: Associates degree in business or related
discipline; 2 years of related work experience (e.g. customer
service or administrative support in a professional services
environment), or an equivalent combination of education and work
experience.
Communications Abilities: (Verbal) Expresses oneself clearly in
conversations and interactions with others; tailors speech to the
level and experience of the audience; uses appropriate grammar and
choice of words; expresses ideas in a concise, organized manner;
maintains eye contact when speaking with others; (Written)
Expresses oneself clearly and concisely in writing; tailors written
communications to effectively reach an audience; uses graphics and
other aids to clarify complex or technical information; spells
correctly; writes using concrete, specific language; uses
punctuation correctly; writes grammatically.
Computer Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel;
high level of accuracy and proficiency in data entry and electronic
records management.
