Job Description: The Credit Officer II role is a highly skilled resource, providing expert level advisory guidance in the most complex, integrated debt capital solutions for commercial banking clients. Products include lines of credit, term loans, real estate loans, and syndicated loans. The CO manages all of the ancillary credit exposure to clients. The CO maintains knowledge of other BofA products including Investment Banking and Treasury Management that have credit exposure, and leverages product expertise to deliver the best possible and optimally integrated strategic solution for the client or prospect. This role reports to the Commercial Credit Manager or Executive and will be aligned to an Underwriting Team that supports the market. Responsibilities: Partners with relationship management and product partners to assess clients’ credit needs and create solutions Leads loan structure conversations and negotiates loan documentation with clients and internal/external legal partners Drives credit and risk approval processes for new credit originations, renewals, increases, and modifications Leads ongoing monitoring efforts for a portfolio of clients in compliance with regulations, policy and procedure Drives the growth of funded loans and revenue while mitigating risks, maintaining asset quality and adhering to regulatory requirements Serves as an escalation point for complex credit transactions Mentors and supports associates Skills: Business Acumen Coaching Decision Making Hiring and Onboarding Loan Structuring Collaboration Credit Documentation Requirements Oral Communications Risk Management Written Communications Change Management Executive Presence Organizational Effectiveness Underwriting Required Qualifications: 10 years of solid Commercial Banking experience Experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management Analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling and loan structuring Strong communication skills; ability to communicate vertically, horizontally, and externally Industry knowledge across multiple sectors Minimum Education Requirement: BA/BS Degree Desired Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 Pay Transparency details US - MN - Minneapolis - 80 S 8TH ST - IDS CENTER (MN1150) Pay and benefits information Pay range $125,000.00 - $200,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
