Position Profile
Position is responsible for supporting the processing of payments and related activities. Additionally, is involved in providing recommendations on how to improve processes or change the performance results directly relating to payment processing and supporting activities. As recommendations are approved, they will play a role in implementing the processes.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties

• Have analytical and critical thinking skills sufficient to make decisions regarding daily work that is complex in nature
• Coordination and processing of daily ACH and wire tasks
• Have comprehensive knowledge of ACH rules and regulations
  • Ability to identify and manage multiple payments projects that drive the business forward
  • Identifying, researching, and resolving member technical, operational, or procedural problems
  • Documenting, tracking, and monitoring issue to ensure a timely resolution
    • Work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities
    • Function in a high-volume environment and within time constraints to meet deadlines
    • Effectively handles internal and external member issues to ensure member satisfaction
    • Backs up other departmental functions as necessary
    • Acquires and maintains knowledge of all credit union products, services, promotions, and marketing materials Leadership and Professionalism

      • Meets performance goals
      • Adheres to any and all current and/or future policies, procedures and guidelines
      • Assumes all duties as assigned by management Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
        • 3-5 years progressive experience in electronic banking and payments
        • Analytical interpretation and focus
        • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
        • Meticulous attention to detail
        • Empowered to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives under minimal supervision
        • Problem solving ability
        • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
          • AAP Certification
          • Education- Bachelor's Degree; in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent field, or equivalent work experience
          • Community Bank or Credit Union experience
          • Project management experience a bonus Physical Requirements
            • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer (70% or more)
            • Constant Use of hands/fingers for constant use of a computer or other office equipment
            • Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching to maintain files
            • Ability to talk/hear/see to communicate ideas and information so others will understand, and to observe details at close range Our Company

                Variable hours between 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday -Friday and/or an occasional weekend/holiday
