As a member of the finance team you will contribute to the accuracy of our financials, budgets and overall company goals. This position is ideal for someone looking to start their career in Accounting/Business and be a part of a company that positively impacts communities through building design.
Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation and analyzing of monthly financial statements
• Assist in month-end close process
• Review designated General Ledger accounts and activity
• Processing accounts payable
• Investigate reporting discrepancies and communicate issues, effectively and in a timely manner
• Prepare and record monthly journal entries and related account reconciliations
• Posting and reconciling general ledger accounts
• Processing monthly payroll using UltiPro (UKG) Software
• Assist in processing/enrolling of employee benefits paperwork
• Maintaining accuracy of all employee data in payroll system
• Other general payroll and accounting functions
• Assist in ad hoc accounting or finance projects and analysis, as assigned
• Assist with internal and external audit requests Opportunities for Growth:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar
    • Microsoft Suite experience with expertise in excel spreadsheets
    • Ability to learn and utilize new technology
    • High level of confidentiality of sensitive information
    • Must be extremely accurate and have a highly developed orientation to detail
    • Customer service mindset
    • Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually
    • Previous UltiPro (UKG) or other HRIS system experience is a plus
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • 0-3 years experience preferred, but not required
