Position Summary: Securian Financial is seeking a Product Analyst to drive the technical direction of its investment platform capabilities. Ample space is given for personal learning and development as well as maintaining a healthy work-life balance - we are truly invested in building people up Responsibilities include but not limited to: Collaborate with business partners to identify and elicit technology needs and work with team members on identifying solutions. Collaborate with team members, business stakeholders, and other teams to refine user stories and prepare them for development while also identifying dependencies, risks, and other concerns. Design and implement technology enhancements addressing business needs by partnering with business stakeholders, team members, vendors, and other technical partners. Build and maintain system knowledge to serve as a technology touchpoint for investment systems and their surrounding processes. Conduct change management communication to affected stakeholders and produce necessary documentation. Communicate with stakeholders on timing and progress with solutions, as well as future technology direction. Partner with Product Owner to develop roadmap of prioritized enhancements. Grow and maintain positive relationship with vendor(s) to facilitate problem resolution and relay information about current and future product offerings. Grow and maintain awareness of trends in the asset management business and technology space. Qualifications: BS/BA degree in business, finance, technology, MIS or equivalent experience. Self-motivated and independent with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for work. Ability to build strong relationships with team members, business users, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and vendors. Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical users. Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills. Technical aptitude to understand platform solutions and how those solutions interrelate with other internal/external systems or solutions. Manages personal self-development to prepare for new responsibilities and challenges in a changing environment. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Agile methodologies and practices is preferred. Standing knowledge of asset management concepts and practices along with technology solutions is preferred. This position will be in a hybrid working arrangement.
