In addition, we can assist you with your business development and strategic planning, management consulting and personal financial planning. This position is responsible for providing management with financial information by researching, analyzing accounts, and preparing financial statements.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Assists in preparing federal, state, and local tax documents by preparing property tax returns, state pages, and federal, state, and municipal returns, extensions, and quarterly payments.Assists in ensuring client's compliance with all relevant state/local, federal and international tax laws and regulations.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations.Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Maintain knowledge of tax code changes, and of accounting procedures and theory to properly evaluate financial information.Why join us?Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive market-based salary, in accord with experience and educationComprehensive benefits package available: paid time-off, medical insurance, 401k, and commission bonus on salesHybrid work scheduleJob DetailsJob Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in AccountingExperience as a Staff Accountant or similar roleEligible to sit for CPA exam preferred, but not requiredAbilities & SkillsRecent income tax experience - 2 years minimum required experience in both individual and business returnsExperience with CCH Axcess Software Suite & QuickBooks is desiredProficient with technology and adaptive to new tools and skillsBe self-motivated and possess the ability to work both independently and on a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Outlook, and WordInterested in hearing more?
